okay..so yestrday was WORLD'S AIDS DAY!!well..so wats d big deal abt it..its a new fad celebrating arbitrary dates giving dem arbitrary names..mother's day..fathers' day n wat not!!nuthr eccentricity of d americans!!dats wat most of us think..n dats wher v r wrong..terribly wrong!world's aids day aint "just another day".its a day fer us to revive our consciousness..our awareness..our resolve to fighting dis deadly disease!!
d world needs to wake up to the fact dat aids is NOT a taboo.its called d modern day's Pandora box..not widout a reason!d situation is evn more grim in our country...india being d largest aids affected population in d world!n wat makes d situation worse is dat people are so secretive even evasive abt dis issue.jus d other day i was talking to a friend of mine..a perfectly educated ,well aware individual n i happened to mention my stigma about d apparent unaware attitude of d people towards d disease thinking he wud undrstand.n was i shockd wen he told me that "such things" shud nt b discussd in public!!its nt smthin to be advertised!!people know about it."SUCH THINGS"!!!its a bloody disease..n a deadly one too!!if people are so well aware den cn plz someone tell me dat y d hell do v have d largest aids affectd population in d world!!!n more shockin was d fact dat it was coming frm him!a person brought up wid decent education!!wat wud it b fer d general masses widout evn d basic knowledge abt so many things!v need to rise..v need to stand up to eradicate dis illness wich is crippling d society in more ways than one!!
contrary to d popular belief aids is not only transmitted through indiscreet sex..its not only a sexually transmitted disease.in fact it can spread through so many other means..blood transfusion is another major cause of aids..as is injection of needles infected wid HIV virus...mother to child transmission during pregnancy n so on.its also a popular myth..in many parts of the world that having sex with a virgin can cure aids!!it cannot b more hell raisingly false!!n dis has sadly lead to to so many more cases of rapes n aids especially in Africa!!!appropriate measures need to b taken fer d eradication of dis disease..sadly no drugs are available yet which can cure d fatal disease n uproot it completely.the only weapons available wid the medical fraternity are awareness n precautions!!
in India d situation is uglier because here the hiv+ patients are socially ousted..dey r abandoned by d society..treated as untouchables..looked down upon as cursed.small children affected wid d disease are left to die by their families.wat was d fault of these little souls..???y have they been subjected to such miserable lives???isn't dat basic human spirit..smthin wich differentiates us from animals...to b kind to d ailing..to serve d suffering!den y r dese people considered a curse for the society???y r dey deprived of their basic rights!!aids doesn't spread by physical contact,by sharing same clothes or food or staying in d same place.its high tym they stood up fer their rights..d need of the hour is that at least the youth of the country..d educated and the aware people cast off the shackles of age old senseless beliefs and stand up fer makin india a better place where each has a right to live wid dignity!!

Is it necessary that i transform my thoughts ,my outlook,my beliefs n in fact my whole being so that i can settle easily into this so-called society..so that i can set myself into the never ending monotonous rut of life that is being thrown in my face!!does living in harmony with the world always mean that i be at war with myself,quench my ideals for the sake of some self righteous people who don't even matter to me??whats so wrong if i look for some sensible explanation behind every thing i do..behind every norm i follow.i mean why do people have to act so blindly..do as d world does..as it has been happening since ages even though its been punched out of all sense!!my whole life is being dictated by societal norms....who is d society to tell me what i should be doing and what not!!do i impress my opinions on anyone??then why the hell is everyone bent on making me feel like a rebel..some outcast..a lunatic in fact when all i want to do is to live the way i like!whenever i speak out my mind..i am either hushed up cuz its too sensational a thing to be discussed so freely or i am told that d bloody thing has been followed since eons so i had better keep my trap shut!!why don't people realize that each and every individual matters...each one can make a difference!!
why is everyone leading a vegetable existence??why do they not think for themselves...they would twist and turn every thing so that it can gel into what others follow..people wont stand up fer eradicating AIDS cuz well..its a sexually transmittd disease n so well...we musnt b talkin abt it though half of the population is affected by it..bt who cares!!u see its a bad influence on God knows who!!wtf!!people shudnt donate organs after death... how can they interfere wid d decisions of d almighty!!if God hasnt givn eyes to a persn ..den he isnt meant to see d world..so why should we help to make his life better!!can someone please make me see any sense in any of this crap!!i mean dthe futility of it all!!
we have found excuses for each and every misdeed...but none of us would ever try to set things right!!we will all sit back.,..shake our heads at d inefficiency of the system..but none of us would provide a solution.its high time people stood up to their rights..the right to speech..the right to express your opinions..the right to make a difference!!!
